The workshop will focus predominantly on the two themes of Communication in Relationships and Letting Go of Old Stories.
We all just want to feel heard, don’t we? That’s the bottom line when it comes to communicating with our partners, children, parents, siblings and friends. But how do we do this? Come and learn some practical skills in communication in relationships. Understand how arguments occur – what happens psychologically and physiologically. Communication can be simple and we can all happily get what we want with some simple tips and tools. Understand what roles we play, what behaviours we fall back on as our default and learn how to raise our self-awareness.
Let go of old pains, traumas (that we don’t dare call traumas) – divorce, bereavement, family upbringing, arguments, bullying, anything that holds us back or disallows us to communicate effectively and move forward in friendships and relationships. I call it ‘What’s in Your Truck?’ What is it that we our lugging around and wondering why things feel tough? Let’s look inside our truck and learn practical and very do-able tips on how to let go of old stories, emotions or people (alive or passed on) so that we can walk forward freely and thrive again personally and professionally.
This four-hour workshop will teach you a range of tools through discussion, mindfulness and writing therapy (and of course some fun and laughter) so that you have these skills for life.
This session is fun and full of practical tips for you to take home and yes there will be a mid-break.
