Tell Me I Am Not Crazy!

A flash of self-doubt and we wonder, “What’s wrong with me?”
We have all had these moments of anxiety or negative thoughts but where do they come from? And more importantly, what can we do about them? Whether it is us, our friend, our family member or our partner. Maybe it was a one-off or it’s a daily struggle. Let’s get informed.
Feel Confident and Empowered.
There is ALWAYS something you can do for yourself so let’s explore practical, day-to-day, real-life strategies that you can implement today.
Some of the areas covered will be:
– What is anxiety? And what can I do for myself?
– Where do negative thoughts come from and why do they come back?
– Where have I gone in all this? My intuitive and beautiful self.
– What are some practical real-life self-care practices and do they actually work?
This will be an interactive workshop including an overall definition of mental health and what it is and the 3-Step Process to combat anxiety. We will work through handouts from my book The Key, A Social Emotional Toolkit for Teens to get a deep understanding of how our brains work, how we get stuck in negative thought loops and how to break them with a simple, effective and fun 4-Step Process to stop negative thinking including how to create positive thinking. Of course we will also cover self-care practices from a real-life perspective, what we can physically and mentally do for ourselves regardless of where we live or how much money we have.
