This Sunday is World Mental Health Day and I will be giving a free talk on understanding mental health in COVID times and looking at coping strategies.
Join us at Marketplace by SOS on Sunday 10th October for the first in our Wellbeing Workshops, to raise awareness of World Mental Health Day and meet with resident counsellor Romi Grossberg.
To mark the event Romi will be sharing simple take-home tools we can all do for ourselves to keep our family, friends and community safe and emotionally healthy.
COVID has been really tough for many and has increased our levels of stress, uncertainty, depression and anxiety. The greater the number in the community who understand the impact of mental health and with the skills to relieve some of these emotions, the more we can support and help each other from things like ‘collective anxiety’ or ‘contagious anxiety’. So let’s come together, learn together and support together.
We’ll be providing complimentary tea and homemade cupcakes donated by the lovely Moran.
Only 20 spots available. So register early to save your seat.
Date: Sunday 10th October
Time: 10:30am – 12:30pm (includes morning tea break)
Location: Marketplace by SOS, behind the Buffalo Steakhouse (Chaweng Ring Road).
Cost: This event is free to attend, but a small donation on the day to Sisters on Samui would be appreciated.
